Sailpast on the Commodore's yacht
Sailpast fell on our 34th wedding anniversary this year. It was a cool day, but we were reasonably comfortable at anchor. It was our first time really anchoring Prime Interest and all went well. Andy helped us set a stern anchor so that we didn't swing around in the breeze, and came back at the end in case we needed help pulling the anchors up.
As I saluted the fleet, Ed played photographer and captured each boat as they passed us.
Since I only have 2 race flags, I followed Jacqui's lead and came up with a message with which to dress ship which used each letter no more than twice, since I only had two sets of flags available - QC 2019 ALL HANDS ON DECK.
