Cradle measurements turn out to be accurate

With the help of a few posters to the C&C owner listserv and my own calculations I was able to determine the height of the crossbeam at the bow of the cradle. Being uncertain of the quality of my estimate I deducted six inches to ensure that I was not too high at the bow support. It's hard to tell from the photos below but I am about eight inches too low. Luckily the boat is perfectly happy resting in the keel itself without need of bow or stern supports. In any case I am able to add shims to the bow if needed. We decided not to put in a stern support.
